HTX

HTX

Founded in 2013 in China under the name Huobi, HTX is a global leader in digital asset trading. The platform offers a wide range of services, with over 100 digital asset pairs available for trading and investment. HTX has expanded its global presence, with offices in Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and the United States. In August 2018, the company went public and was listed in Hong Kong.

After the Chinese government’s 2017 ban on Bitcoin exchanges, HTX halted Bitcoin withdrawals and closed its Chinese website. However, it continued operating internationally under the name “Huobi Pro” as a Seychelles-registered entity. Meanwhile, Huobi China transitioned into a blockchain consulting and research platform.

By March 2018, HTX was processing approximately $1 billion in trades daily.
