China Construction Bank
China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) is one of the “big four” banks in China. In 2015, CCB was ranked as the second-largest bank globally by market capitalization and was the sixth-largest company worldwide. The bank operates approximately 13,629 domestic branches and has a presence in major international cities, including Barcelona, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, New York City, Seoul, Singapore, Tokyo, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, and Auckland. It also has a wholly owned subsidiary in London. As of 2009, CCB’s total assets reached CN¥ 8.7 trillion. The bank’s headquarters is located in the Xicheng District of Beijing.
