Metaplanet Now Holds 0.01% of Total Bitcoin Supply
Metaplanet (3350) has expanded its Bitcoin holdings to 2,100 BTC, securing 0.01% of the total 21 million BTC that will ever exist. The company recently acquired an additional 68.59 BTC for $6.6 million, with an average purchase price of $96,335 per Bitcoin.
Dylan Le Clair noted that Metaplanet has raised $20 million in equity capital within the first two trading days of its “21 Million Plan.” Additionally, the company announced on February 18 that it will implement a 10-for-1 stock split on April 1, following a reverse 1-for-10 split just eight months ago.
Metaplanet’s stock has gained over 1% in today’s trading session, currently priced at 6,260 JPY.
