Floki Launches Zero-Fee Crypto Debit Card, Strengthening Token Fundamentals.

Floki (FLOKI), a memecoin project, launched a zero-fee debit card on Monday, available in 31 European countries, with plans for future global expansion. The card allows users to spend a variety of cryptocurrencies—including bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), tether (USDT), BNB Chain’s BNB, and FLOKI—at merchants worldwide that accept VISA or Mastercard. Notably, there are no transaction or exchange rate fees, and the card is compatible with over eight blockchain networks.

The physical card is priced at $33, while the virtual version costs slightly over $10. A 2% top-up fee is charged when transferring tokens into the spending account linked to the card.

Floki’s lead developer, “B,” explained to CoinDesk via Telegram that the new card enables FLOKI holders to easily off-ramp their tokens and spend them directly at millions of merchants without the hassle of traditional conversion methods. Additionally, a VIP card will be introduced, offering higher limits of up to $50,000 per day and $250,000 per month.

However, the cards will not be available in regions sanctioned by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or where banks have restrictions.

Currently, the cards are available in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
